Formula
GPA = Sum(grade points x credits) / Sum(credits)
Add each course grade and credit. GPA equals total weighted points divided by total credits.

- credits: Credit hours for a course
Example
A in 3 credits, B in 3 credits
- Weighted points = (4.0 x 3) + (3.0 x 3) = 21
- Total credits = 6
- GPA = 21 / 6
